About Dr. Charya Goldsmith

Dr. Charya B. Goldsmith is a board certified dermatologist, specializing in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Goldsmith graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Georgia’s Honors Program on full academic scholarship with highest honors, as a triple major in Genetics, Biology, and Microbiology. Dr. Goldsmith received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, while on academic scholarship, in Augusta, Georgia; graduating at the top of her medical school class, earning several academic awards and honors, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Goldsmith went on to complete her Dermatology Residency at the University of Florida where she served as Chief Resident and was awarded the University of Florida Resident Educator Award for her excellence in teaching. After completing her residency, Dr. Goldsmith joined the University of Florida faculty to continue her work in clinical resident education while serving as the department’s cosmetic dermatologist. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Goldsmith currently resides in Lawrenceville, GA with her husband and son. She is actively involved in her community as a member of the Junior League and her church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, traveling, running, crafting, cooking & baking.

From the front desk personnel to the PA to Dr. Goldsmith, everyone was efficient, professional yet personable and proficient. I was treated with care and respect. Dr. Goldsmith's bedside manner is too notch. She and her staff made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable before, during, and after treatment!!

So this provider took over an hour to see me today and I drove 1:30 minutes to see her. I only had five minutes to tell her what was happening to me while she took a toothpick and picked my 4Bhair. As a medical professional myself ( she didn’t know this) you have to provide teaching to patients not just take this medication and go. There needs to be a conversation on how you can prevent this from happening. I’m very irritated with this appointment and I wouldn’t come back if I had a choice.
