Chhavi A. Lal is a board-certified physician assistant who focuses on all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated with distinction from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut in 2002 with a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and joined the practice in 2003. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. She is married to Subodh Lal, M.D., a gastroenterologist in Cobb County. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

I went in with the concern for my baby’s skin. I already know she has eczema but with the condition her skin was in I wanted to know if maybe it was more. The doc just looked at her skin, she didn’t offer to run tests, or suggest other possible causes. She just told me to use a different cream than what I was already using. I expected a little more attention to detail and a more in depth visit.

I really love this office. It just is clean, professional, quick, and kind. My only complaint is parking, no one really looks forward to going to the doctor so having to pay for parking to see the doctor is something that will never sit right with me. But that’s out of my providers control I suppose (
although I do wish they at least validated)

Doctor did the best she could since it was my first visit with her but, she could have been a bit nicer in a sense. She almost made it seem like since she didn’t know exactly what was going on it was out of her hands so, she came off irritable because of that.

Everyone in the office was extremely nice - especially Gail. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable before the actual appointment. She made sure that all of my questions were documented beforehand but treated the whole conversation like we were old friends. Dr. Lal was wonderful, per usual. She was helpful in suggestions for treatments and was very up front with costs. She also pulled from similar scenarios to show what has worked and not worked as far as treatments go.

This was an excellent experience at this office and Chhavi Lal. I was seen quickly, the staff was nice and efficient. I was there for a longstanding issue another Dermatologist just gave me a quick fix and referral to an expensive plastic surgeon that was not necessary. Chhavi and staff got me on track to a permanent solution and if I have to pay anything in the end, it will cost me 70% less than a previous quote. Highly recommended
