Getting to know Chibuzor Susan Igolo
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Purdue University, and a family nurse practitioner specializing in weight loss therapies and medications with a Master's in Family Health Nursing from Chamberlain University, I strive to ensure that my patients are treated with respect and cared for holistically. I also aim to help patients overcome the stigma associated with mental health illness and obesity, so they know it is okay to seek and receive help. Having worked with individuals facing mental health challenges and weight loss across the lifespan, I am dedicated to making sure my patients get the support they need. My educational journey began with an Associate's degree from Prince George's Community College - Main Campus, which laid the foundation for my commitment to compassionate care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
I also aim to help patients overcome the stigma that is associated with mental health illness and to know that it is ok to seek and get help. I have worked with those with mental health illnesses and medical illnesses across the life span, and I am dedicated to making sure that my patients get the help that they need.
