About Dr. Christian Soneru
Dr. Christian Soneru is a board-certified Otolaryngologist and fellowship trained Rhinologist who specializes in treating medical and surgical disorders of the nose and sinuses. His clinical practice focuses on complex and revision sinus surgery for difficult and challenging sinusitis.
Dr. Soneru completed his undergraduate work at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He went on to earn his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons followed by a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Chicago. After graduation from residency, he completed a fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. He has published several papers and book chapters on advanced topics in Rhinology and is actively involved in the American Rhinologic Society.

I was seen right away by Dr. Soneru and a resident. He took time to listen to my concerns before asking questions and doing a physical exam. He was patient with all my questions and sited relevant recent and past studies knowledgeably and helped me understand his thought process and next steps.

The doctor was overtly polite and respectful but I had a sense he was doubting my symptoms. He did help with at least one of my complaints though, so this is on the plus side. He was also condescending, told me to use "just words" when I tried to tell him about a prior diagnosis.

The visit was efficient and the staff was incredibly friendly. I waited for maybe like 5 minutes after giving them my insurance card and waited in the actual appointment room for like 1 minute. Dr. Soneru was awesome. He listened to my issue and asked a few questions. From there he helped solve my issue and answered a few questions for me. He was very attentive when he was actually looking at my ears and explained to me what was going on. He also checked in to make sure I was doing ok with everything which I really appreciated. I highly recommend this office and physician. A great experience overall.
