About Dr. Christian Wower
Dr. Christian Wower is a graduate of Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Northshore Hospital. He is an attending physician at Northwell Health Hospitals and a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. Besides general podiatry and trauma, Dr. Wower is well-versed in geriatric medicine, diabetic foot care, and sports medicine.
At AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY), our Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) or Podiatrists, are dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions in the feet, ankles, and lower legs. Patients should see a Podiatrist if they have persistent foot swelling or numbness, painful bunions, difficulty walking, or ingrown toenails. Patients with diabetes may also need to see a Podiatrist for regular foot exams to prevent or treat foot complications caused by diabetes. For podiatry patients experiencing more severe foot issues, such as fractures, many ACPNY offices can connect you to same-day x-rays through our partnership with Lennox Hill Radiology, or to vascular surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists from outside the practice.

Great experience, Dr. Wower was efficient and kind and helped me out with my foot pain. Get to the office early; the front desk people are good but it gets really busy and backed up - I was glad I beat the rush. I was 15 min early for my appointment and was seen by the doctor 10-15 min after my appointment time. Very reasonable experience and I would go back.

PHENOMENAL SERVICE! With the exception of the check in process, please make sure to arrive 15 min before your appointment time. Other than that everything was exceptional hence his the doctors last name Dr. Wower. Would recommend 20/10

I'm sure he was doing his job,but he did little to allievate my pain. As I write this the pain is so much I can't sleep. First,I told nurse my pain was a 10+,but doctor never addressed that when he came in.

Doctor Wower went over my issue and provided his professional opinion. He sent me downstairs in the same building to have an X-ray done and then saw me again afterwards to go over the film. The whole process took only a couple of hours.

Dr. Wower was amazing, I was taken on time. I felt so comfortable from the get go. He walked me through a detailed step by step plan of what the procedure entailed. After my 3rd visit today overall a very pleasant man and I would highly recommend him for any of your podiatry needs!
