About Christina Smitley
Christina Smitley, APRN, FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She scored in the top six percent of examinees nationwide on her certification exam. Christina is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner in both New York and Florida. Her Master of Science in Nursing was completed at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky where she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Her nursing education was received through Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences in Orlando, Florida, where she also worked for five years. Christina received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a minor in Education from the University of Florida. She graduated Cum Laude and was an active member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.
Christina selected dermatology as her field after combating cystic acne. She has over a decade of experience, treating a wide variety of skin related conditions such as acne, eczema, vitiligo, psoriasis, rashes, cysts, non-melanoma skin cancers, and other skin related concerns. As a nurse practitioner, Christina prides herself in providing the highest level of compassionate care to her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, bicycling, running, traveling, and Gator football.

Acne can really ruin your self-esteem, and going to an appointment especially online is scary, but Christina made me feel completely seen and understood. They took the time to really listen to my concerns, answered all of my questions, and created a routine that felt realistic and tailored to me. I loved how much they cared about finding options that were affordable and actually made sense for my situation. After the appointment, they emailed me all the information I needed. Palm Beach Dermatology Group was really wonderful. They have a very nice office and very courteous and professional staff. She is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I was seen for something cosmetic but she caught a lesion I had never even noticed. Turned out to be something that needed to be medically addressed.
