She develops a close partnership with her patients, motivating them through compassion, inspiration, encouragement, and practical support to reach not only their health goals but their life goals as well. If you’re looking to avoid pharmaceuticals to fix a symptom and care about the root problem,

I was able to get in the next day and in an hour felt more heard then all year with my PCP.

She was awesome. I definitely feel my concerns were heard.

The front desk manager was wonderful, but the Dr. wanted to split the cancellation fee with me due to the non coverage by insurance. My issue is that if zocdoc is beneficial in getting appointments, then the Dr. should accept responsibility for errors. I left some positive simply because the manager was in the middle and was very gracious.

Arrived 20 mins prior to my appointment time and office was dark, so I waited in the hall per the instructions in the sign on the door. 20 mins past my appointment start time (for a 45 min new patient appointment) I decided to call the office phone number. The recording directed me to text another number if I needed help. The person who called back said she was the office assistant, and that she called out sick and was working from home. I informed her that I still hadn’t seen the doctor come in for the day and asked if she was regularly 20 mins late to work. To which the girl replied “she is usually 20-25 mins late in every aspect of her life.” She then went on to say that if by the END of my appointment time the Dr. still hadn’t shown up I was free to leave without paying the missed appointment fee??anyhow she finally showed up 25 mins into my appointment so she was able to charge my insurance a new patient office visit for a 20 minute chat. Unless you enjoy wasting time go elsewhere

I finally felt heard! I've been experiencing allergy-like symptoms in addition to joint pain and fatigue. Dr. Winkleman - in very short order - helped me figure out that some of what was happening was, in fact, related to other hormonal imbalances. She quickly helped me find a path to better health in a way that no one in conventional medicine has been able to do. She and her staff were pleasant and I enjoyed the visit more than any I can recall with any doctor.

I had a great experience at this office! I was treated very kindly and warmly by both the front desk and the doctor. I felt heard when I was explaining my thoughts and concerns about my health.

Dr. Winkelman was kind and professional. I felt heard and I appreciated her patience and willingness to explain her thought process to me.

I had thought an initial ND intake would be a thorough hour of history etc but it was a half hour in which I felt rushed, pressured to try something I didn’t get a very clear explanation of (despite asking) and no tenderness or sense of really being heard and considered. It may be just a different style than suits me but i prefer some compassion and i felt more like a math problem. It didn’t seem like she read my thorough pre-appointment intake answers either, it felt like once i told her my top two concerns it was just plug-in to the programs she has used for these issues before not as personally attuned as I was hoping from an ND. Maybe I am romanticizing NDs, this was my first experience. Also upon arrival there was only a sign saying the dr was in but to wait - and I waited over half an hour with no contact (and the patient after me showed up before my appointment began). Lastly the office was dirty (like crumbs and dust and another patient’s folder(!!) and clutter on the desk).
I was given a medicinal herbal protocol without test/labs being taken. The doctor didn't take vitals and looked at my tongue, that was the extent of looking at me. Not what I was looking for and will be looking for other options.

NP who primary patients are women. Focusing on women health needs and ways to correct issues using natural FDA treatment methods. Appointments are about 30 min or less, short and convenient. Have booked future visits as saw a positive result and change in how I was feeling. Provides excellent explanations of how body and brain work on conjunction with each other. Focused on providing best care treatment plan which includes physical, mental and emotional status.

Christina seems like a genuine person who is interested in finding root cause of your issues and approaching wellness holistically! I like her and look forward to putting together my treatment plan in depth at my next visit.
I had a very good initial visit with this practitioner. Do you know she is trauma-informed? It's a great fit for me, as I struggle with PTSD. I felt very at ease talking about what I struggle with. I'm excited about taking a more holistic approach to my health.
I have only just begun my dr-patient relationship with Dr. Winkelman, but my first impression was very very good. I have had some bad experiences with doctors invalidating my experience as a chronically ill person, and I'm used to having to convince doctors that I'm actually sick and need a lot of care. I walked in ready to have that hard convo, but before I could begin, Winkelman took a look at my chart and said "wow, you have a lot going on here, no wonder your body has been struggling." She immediately validated my experience. Winkelman was transparent and honest in a way that most doctors aren't, and took her time with me instead of rushing off to the next patient. I left the office feeling hopeful for the first time in a long time, maybe moreso than any doctor I've been to as an adult. The intake is very very thorough, and as a holistic health practitioner I was largely impressed. I will say though, for any trans/gender non-conforming people reading this, that the intake form needs some work in the area of trans literacy. It's very outdated and uses binary language that was pretty triggering for me to deal with as a non-binary/trans person. It seems like they're still working on being more trans friendly. Insights to Health seems like the type of place to correct their mistakes, so I'm looking forward to seeing that kind of progress. However, the receptionist Victoria was very good with that kind of thing, and didn't mess up my pronouns!

She put me at ease.

She asked a lot of questions and made me feel that she truly cared about finding a healthy way to solve my problems instead of throwing me on a bunch of meds.
Since it was my first appointment I had to fill out some paperwork which took awhile. I was looking for an "umbrella" care provider to care for the whole being and I've found that.
The front office staff is welcoming and informed. The doctor is a true professional who "knows her stuff" and is always willing to listen and got to the root of the issue. I have been treated by the doctor for several years now and consider having integral paid of my health care team.
Dr. Winkelman is a truly caring provider who loves what she does. She is knowledgeable, professional and truly interested in being a partner with you in your treatment. She is a dr. who listens and is willing to go the long haul, never giving up to help you reach your goals. You will find her treatments work, and she stocks all her medicines on site. I would recommed Dr. Winkelman to anyone who is serious about obtaining good health.
