About Dr. Christopher Burrei
Christopher Burrei, DO, is Board Certified in Physiatry, Pain Medicine, and Sports Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Burrei completed his internship at St. Barnabas Hospital, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship at Nassau County Medical Center.
Dr. Burrei has special expertise in managing back pain and performs EMG/NCV studies, as well as trigger point, muscle, and joint injections. His interests include diagnosing and managing acute and chronic neck and lower back injuries, non-surgical sports injuries, and overseeing proper physical rehabilitation.

My doctor was very efficient. Broke down the details and explained everything that was a concern. Conveniently fast they have an x-ray on site and can schedule an MRI immediately across the hall. Very convenient to have everything in one office.

This Doctor was awesome. He took his time, he really heard my concerns, and addressed them with grace. Wish I found this guy sooner. Great in every way. Made me feel comfortable moving forward. Every part of this experience was spot on. I’m glad doctors like this still exist. He really cared and it was evident. Had two prior surgeries and he confirmed they were done well, and necessary. He called me afterwards and showed further concern. What an absolute gentleman. Cheers to you sir!
