About Dr. Christopher Chung
Dr. Christopher Chung is a podiatrist trained in forefoot and rearfoot surgery who treats a wide range of lower extremity issues, including foot and ankle fractures, foot ulcers and wound care, neuroma, flatfoot, bunions, hammertoes, fungal toenails, pediatric foot deformities, warts, and ingrown toenails, to name a few.
He spent his youth involved in mission trips to Nicaragua, Nepal, and Peru with the aim of supplying medical supplies, medicine, and various treatments to those in need of medical attention. He graduated from the University at Albany in 2008 with a B.S. in Biology and completed his post-baccalaureate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. Dr. Chung earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016 and treated veterans during his residency at the DVA NY Harbor Healthcare System. In his spare time, he enjoys drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, and has an affinity for projects involving 3D construction and planning.
Dr. Chung's philosophy in healthcare is that everyone deserves good and reliable care for their everyday pain and ailments. He strongly believes that attention, mindfulness, and a willingness to work with patients to reach goals they are happy with are the most important aspects of care.

Today I took my son to his appointment with Dr. Christopher Chung, and we received very warm and friendly treatment. The doctor examined him and administered the treatment with all the necessary care, answering all his questions and explaining everything about the procedure and the aftercare. Dr. Chung was very friendly and easy going. He gave me clear advice about my fracture and we were able to schedule a day for surgery immediately.
The front desk Joyce was amazing and super attentive and thorough. She explained to me in detail the steps I needed to be cleared for surgery and even called and booked the physician visit for me.

My experience with Dr. Chung and his staff was great. The office was clean and modern. I was seen right away after filling out the usual paperwork. Dr. Chung's bedside manner was awesome. After thoroughly listening to my complaint and taking X-rays, he gave me his diagnosis. He was very clear and concise and even made a diagram of the foot to thoroughly explain my condition to me. He then recommended solutions for my treatment plan and made me feel confident that it would alleviate my condition. I'm very critical and usually don't write reviews but Dr. Chung and his staff made an impression on me that I thought would be useful for others. I highly recommend Dr. Chung and hope you receive the same level of patient care that I received.

Dr.Chung surpassed my expectations. I went to see him expecting to be dismissed and disappointed and rushed. And the complete opposite happened. I left his office well informed and with the feeling that I wasn't just another patient that he saw. He made sure that I didn't leave his office until he was sure that my feet were not in pain. and that I was able to walk comfortably with the padding he made for my feet. I love the fact that he didn't felt the need to ask me. what was my goal in coming to him. Dr.Chung made feel like I matter. He has patience and compassion. You can tell Dr.Chung really loves what he does and care for all his patients. That is something you don't see in to many doctors. I am sorry to say. I will definitely see him again. And recommend him to anyone in need of a podiatrist

Dr.Chung was a pleasure. As someone who’s had to get their ingrown toenail removed before , this time with Dr.Chung it was a walk in the park. No pain or discomfort. I wasn’t rushed during my visit , he answered all of my questions in detail. And he even educated me on the treatment plans and potential outcomes with each one. This was my favorite visit with a podiatrist. Highly recommend to anyone.
