These often came from other clinicians, seeking help for patients with new or unexplained psychiatric symptoms. These cases suggested the need for a different kind of psychiatric practice. Thus, Dr. Hummel founded The Hummel Clinic — a clinic designed for patients that did not fit inside the usual psychiatric box. Our approach emphasizes careful clinical assessment, biological context, and iterative treatment planning — so care can evolve as we learn more about the complex relationship between body and mind.
