“I've never had great experiences with primary care doctors. It always felt transactional—routine checks, "any problems?", blood tests, done. Even when I came prepared with notes, I never knew what was worth sharing when no one asked questions to help me get there.
Dr. Eppele was different. She started by asking about my comfort level and what I was willing to share. Her kind demeanor, genuine eye contact, and the way she actually listened—really listened—had me remembering and sharing things I would have forgotten but probably needed to mention. She asked thoughtful questions, and when something might be more personal, she asked permission first. She was intuitive about both my physical and mental health.
I left feeling set up for success with real options, not just a blood test order. For the first time, I felt like my doctor actually cared about my wellbeing—not like I was just another name on the schedule.
I will absolutely be going back. Highly recommend.”

Dr. Claudia Eppele, MD, Specializing in Depression and Anxiety, is a compassionate and trailblazing physician whose journey in medicine reflects her deep commitment to helping others. Beginning her career in General Surgery, she spent three years mastering this challenging field before expanding her expertise in colorectal surgery at the University of Southern California for 4 additional years .At USC, she contributed valuable insights with eight published articles and numerous presentations at prestigious conferences. Her desire to provide more comprehensive care led her to complete a second residency in Family Medicine at the University of California Davis. Later on she became one of the first Physicians to offer TMS therapy in California 15 years ago after her training at Harvard University Beth Israel Hospital.
Dr. Eppele made history as the first Family Medicine doctor in the U.S. to integrate holistic, natural therapies, psychotherapy, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) into her practice. This innovative approach, now known as the “Eppele Method,” offers a groundbreaking combination of traditional and alternative treatments to address mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and OCD while balancing hormonal issues which greatly impact mental. Dr. Eppele uses natural medicine and high quality supplements to help patients with sensitivity to medications to be balanced and be in the least amount of medicine possible. Her research background has allowed her to customize treatment for her patients by performing before and after brain scans and cognitive testing that provide objective data of patient's improvement/performance.
