“Dr. Popp has been a fantastic resource for me as my health, fitness, and athletic goals have changed over time. His system is intuitive and made tracking macros a lot more manageable than others I've tried in the past. Plus, his approach is realistic. Dr. Collin Popp is dedicated to providing premier nutrition counseling services to individuals seeking to improve their overall health. He is the CEO of Popp Nutrition based in Greenwich, CT, and an NIH-funded Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Grossman School of Medicine in NYC. Dr. Popp earned his PhD in Nutrition from Clemson University, holds a Master's in Nutrition from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and completed his bachelor's degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine ? Tucson. His research focuses on the science of weight loss maintenance-specifically, how individuals can successfully maintain a "new body weight" after weight loss. He conducts clinical trials in obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolism. With over 50 peer-reviewed publications and presentations at more than 20 international and national conferences, Dr. Popp brings over 12 years of experience providing diet and nutrition counseling to more than 1,200 clients. Collin was a thorough and attentive nutritionist that changed my eating habits for the long term. He is able to easily convey nutrition and lifestyle facts in a way that is digestible, and therefore easy to turn into habits. He created an effective eating plan for me and my partner, and worked with us a couple and how we can incorporate a healthy lifestyle during our weekly grocery runs and also during our nights eating out. Collin is without doubt the best nutritionist I have worked with. He is very knowledgeable but makes the process simple, attainable, and maintainable. I've worked with a few nutritionists and Collin is the first one I'd work with again. I cannot recommend him enough.
I set out with a goal to improve my diet, lose a little bit of weight and get a bit more toned.  Collin was really great - developing a custom plan based off my schedule, dietary preferences, etc.  He broke the process down clearly, answered all questions and was always available to answer questions. I reached my goals and was able to maintain after the program ended. Highly recommended.
I cannot rave about Dr. Popp enough. From our first session he listened to me and walked me through everything step by step. He is so patient. No question felt ridiculous. He was so encouraging and supportive. He kept me accountable through the whole process. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone looking to work with a nutritionist--especially if you are an athlete. As a mom of 3 and in my 40s, losing weight isn't easy by any means. But Dr. Popp helped me to feel good in my body again.
