As an Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon, my goal is to provide patient-focused, evidence-based care with integrity, honesty and compassion. With advanced training in otolaryngology and specialized training in head and neck surgical oncology, I am committed to caring for the specific needs of each individual patient. My hope is that patients will feel heard, respected and cared for in my practice. Dr. Mulcahy is a board-certified Otolaryngologist – Head & Neck Surgeon and a native Houstonian. He attended Texas A&M University and studied Biomedical Sciences before returning to Houston where he obtained his medical degree at McGovern Medical School (formerly The University of Texas at Houston Medical School). He then moved to Washington, D.C. to complete five-year residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the George Washington University, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In 2021, Dr. Mulcahy returned home and completed a fellowship in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Mulcahy practices within the full breadth of the specialty and sees patients with general otolaryngology disorders. In addition to this, he sees patients with head and neck cancers including upper aerodigestive tract malignancies, skin cancers, endocrine malignancies as well as salivary gland malignancies and other disorders. He has a particular interest in the use of ultrasonography in management of both benign and malignant head and neck disorders. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is an avid college football and Astros fan.
