Connie was really listened to what was going on with me and let me share as much as I needed to. She was professional but at the same time friendly. She explained the treatment and guided me as to what to expect. It was honestly one of the best medical visits I’ve had.

Connie Qian is a Licensed and Board Certified acupuncturist and herbalist in New York State. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Dartmouth College and has a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College. Connie decided to pursue her passion for eastern medicine after a career in investment banking because of her own positive experience with acupuncture and herbal medicine. She grew up being treated by her aunt, who was both an acupuncturist and biomedical doctor. Her own professional career in acupuncture focuses women’s health and fertility, hormonal disorders and pain management. Wonderful provider !!!! She is very professional, knowledgeable , and patient. I suffered nearly all year with shoulder pain and over a week with lower back pain with stiffness prior to my appointment with her. She did an evaluation, and treated me with acupuncture with electrical stimulation. She then applied a soothing oil at the end of the session. Shortly after, I felt all of the pain and stiffness improved in less than an hour of my visit !!! I am so blessed to have found this provider !

Akos Acupuncture is a clean, beautiful and very comfortable place and Connie was great! I had shoulder pain for months, visiting orthopedic Doctor didn’t resolve my problem. After two treatment by Connie, my shoulder pain greatly reduced. She not only gave me an amazing treatment, also explained to me what I should to do at home. Highly recommend!

I've been seeing Connie regularly for over two years. She is a great listener and very attentive to her patients! She was so helpful throughout the duration of my pregnancy, easing many aches and pains through her treatments. I highly recommend Connie to all of my friends and coworkers.

Connie has a great intake process. Every appointment, she takes time to sit down with you to learn not just what’s hurting but what environmental stressers (work, home, life!) are contributing to the pain and what other wellness tools you can use for better overall health. I’ve seen her for running induced hip, foot, and back pain, as well as TMJ and chronic neck and should pain.

Connie is a great professional. She not only has a profound knowledge but also, she always takes the time to explain all my concerns and I can feel how she and her team always look further in how to help me. When I started acupuncture I was being treat with a high dose of strong medications for neuropathic pain after a surgery. Today after 6 months I am pain free without medications and only with acupuncture and herbal medicine. She has also helped me with headaches and back pain. Their practice is cute, nice and clean and she is always on time. I really appreciate how she takes care about her patients. am beyond grateful to Connie, Sarah and Jane

I always look forward to my visits with Connie because I know I'll leave them feeling infinitely more relaxed, balanced, and well. She's been a lifesaver throughout my pregnancy as I've dealt with achey joints, nausea, indigestion, and countless other joys of carrying a baby. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient at Akos since they opened and it has completely changed the way I feel. I have suffered from severe neck and back pain for nearly a decade - traditional chiropractic methods and massage have historically provided me little to no relief. I had never tried acupuncture or cupping before, and felt hesitant, but was immediately put at ease upon entering the Akos office and working with Connie. She really took her time getting to know my health background and understand my symptoms. My appointments always feel thorough, I never feel as though I am being rushed out the door and I always leave feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. After a couple of days, my back and neck feel several times better and I'm noticing more and more improvement after each and every visit. I am now a believer in cupping and acupuncture and would highly recommend a visit to AKOS to anyone that is curious about trying it out.

Treatment rooms are spacious and comfortable! Connie always spend doing consultation during every visit about my concerns or problem areas i wanted to work on. She takes time to get me comfortable and explains every procedure so I always know what's going on. Highly recommended for people that either loves acupuncture already or have never tried it before!
