About Dr. Courtney Testani

Dr. Testani is a board-certified family medicine physician originally from Trumbull, Connecticut. She earned her undergraduate degree from Denison University, where she majored in Biology, minored in Spanish, and was a standout student-athlete on the field hockey team. Her dedication on and off the field earned her a place on the National Academic All-American Squad. She went on to receive her medical degree from Campbell University, where she was honored with the Overall Distinguished Clinical Scholar Award in Family Medicine for her graduating class. Dr. Testani then completed her residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she served as chief resident and pursued a concentration in women’s health. Dr. Testani is passionate about providing comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals and families. Her special interests include women’s health, sports medicine, pediatrics, mental health, and addressing the social determinants of health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Testani enjoys running, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her cat.

I booked an annual physical through Zocdoc. I clearly indicated that this would be my first visit as a new patient. I never received any outreach from the office not even a confirmation or instructions for new patient paperwork. Since I hadn’t heard anything, I called the office to check whether they needed any documents. My calls went unanswered. After several attempts, I finally reached someone, only to be told that I did not have an appointment with them. I was also told that their system “doesn’t talk to Zocdoc.” That was extremely frustrating. If their system doesn’t integrate with Zocdoc, they should not be listed there. As a patient, there’s no way for me to know that, and I relied on the platform in good faith to schedule care. This was a very poor experience overall and a complete waste of time. I would not book with this office again, and I strongly recommend that anyone trying to schedule with them through Zocdoc save themselves the frustration and look elsewhere.
