Dr. Cristian Harghel was born in Bucharest, Romania, and graduated from Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Carol Davila Facultatea de Medicina (University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila) in 1995. He came to New York the same year and passed the United States Medical Licensing Exams Steps I, II, and III.
Dr. Harghel completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College, followed by a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn and Queens.
Dr. Harghel states, "The practice of medicine is my everlasting love. Helping people in need and alleviating suffering and pain is my mission in life. Providing the highest quality care for my patients is my goal."
