Dr. Bartis, was young but very knowledgeable in reference to her field. She was very thorough and paid attention to detail. I have another appointment scheduled for next month.
The only thing that caught me off guard was that they were the first Dr. Office out of about 17 visits to the different Dr's. this year; to charge me a co-payment for an O.V. not sure will have to check with my insurance Co.

Cristina Bartis, M.D. is a fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist with a background in anesthesiology. She attended UT Southwestern Medical School at Dallas and completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Bartis distinguished herself during her training with a range of recognitions including the award for outstanding junior resident and chief resident. She continued her training at UIC as a fellow in acute and chronic pain management. Dr. Bartis had the opportunity to train with physicians who are experts and leading researchers in the physiology and management of chronic pain.
Dr. Bartis is skilled at various interventions for treating sub acute and chronic pain involving the spinal column. She is also proficient in ultrasound guided interventions for the treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions. She is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management, International Spine Intervention Society, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Her training and practice reflect a multimodal approach to treatment ranging from conservative management to interventions tailored to each individual.

She is without a doubt the worst Doctor I've ever been treated by. She needs to change professions. She is not in the right field of medicine. I am just glad I got away from her before more damage could be caused.

She was kind understanding and thorough at first visits, on 4th visit due to my inability to pay for noncovered procedrures I was booted out to a Dr that doesn't even prescribe the narcotic pain mds I must take longterm, 2nd dr nev er contacted meI I Had to find my own Dr and staff didn't send my referral for over 6 days causing me to not have an appt in time for refill of meds. The Dr insisted I.must stretch my meds to.last as a result of their not getting me to a competent Dr on time. This took.over a month with my calls going unanswered for 4 dayat a time. While I pushed for the process to.be handled o this very thing wouldn't happen. Narcotic withdrawals and bone pain with no remedies is the result of their unprofessional actions or lack.of.

Dr was good but wait time was 2 hrs! I've never waited this long for ANY type of physician & staff NEVER gave explanation for delay or an apology!
