About Dr. Cynthia Hornback

Dr. Cynthia Hornback founded Hornback Chiropractic and Wellness, P.A. on November 4, 2002. She has been passionate about helping her patients achieve their health goals since HCW's doors opened in Lakewood Ranch. Dr. Hornback specializes in Diversified, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Kennedy Decompression Technique, and Activator Methods adjusting techniques and is certified in Acupuncture. Dr. Hornback completed over 5,300 academic hours while achieving Dean's List honors and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in April 2001. She received numerous awards related to her clinical studies and practice while attending Logan College. Dr. Hornback is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Florida Department of Chiropractic Examiners. A native of Missouri, Dr. Hornback graduated from Sikeston Senior High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Missouri State University. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles, in 2000. Since then, they have been blessed with their daughter Estella in 2005 and son Hayden in 2007. They enjoy boating, traveling, and family movie nights. Dr. Hornback also enjoys sharing her experience and passion for chiropractic as adjunct faculty for Palmer College of Chiropractic, Logan University, the Life PEAK program, National University of Health Sciences, and Parker University. Through these programs, she hosts senior chiropractic students in her offices to teach them the skills needed to successfully treat many conditions and educate patients in private practice. Many of these students have become associates as she continues to expand locations to fulfill her purpose of sharing the gift of chiropractic wellness-helping reduce the use of drugs and surgeries in our community and beyond.
