Philosophy of Care
I try to approach each patient as an individual with unique life circumstances and unique health issues or concerns. I also want my patients to know that we are in this as a team. Together, we can pave the road to a healthy life. I like to promote an active, healthy lifestyle. The more we can focus on wellness, the less we’ll have to focus on illness. That’s a concept I really want my patients to understand.
Why I Entered Medicine
The core reason why I became a doctor is to serve people. I’ve also always been fascinated by the complexity of the human body and how it works, so I excelled in sciences.
Personal Interests
I love spending time outdoors, and I recently started running. I’ve never been overly athletic or even coordinated, but running is something anyone can do. And since I can do it outside, it’s an activity that I really enjoy. For me, it’s a great stress reliever – and with four children, I need that.
