Dr. Ranjini Chugh, MD

Pediatrician
4807 Freemansburg Ave, Ste 100, Easton, PA
Philosophy of Care I emphasize the preventive aspects of medicine. Choosing a healthy lifestyle?which includes good eating habits, being physically active, and maintaining a positive outlook on life?are each equally important in preventing disease and promoting good health. I believe in integrative and holistic medicine and also strive to keep treatment plans individualized to meet the needs of each patient and their family. Why I Entered Medicine I always wanted to positively influence the health and well-being of our children. The ability to make a difference in a child?s life on a personal level appealed to me. The lasting relationships with my patients as they grow into young adults give me a sense of great fulfillment. Education and Training I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Seth G.S. Medical College. I completed my residency in Pediatrics at St. Barnabas Hospital, which provided me with comprehensive clinical experience and a strong foundation in child healthcare. Community & Charity Involvement Being able to give back to my community means a lot to me. I was instrumental in starting a fundraising event, "Volley for Kids," in Berks County, where I lived before moving to this area. This was an initiative on behalf of "Aaron?s Acres," a well-known foundation that organizes summer camps for children with special needs. I have also contributed to organizations in India?most notably the SOS Children's Villages and LKS?which worked toward organizing free eye surgeries for the poor. Another very rewarding way to give back has been through teaching young medical students and motivating them to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. Personal Interests I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. My children are grown now, and I take pride in their achievements as well. My daughter and son-in-law are both physicians, and my son is on his way to becoming a dentist. I love to cook and also enjoy reading and traveling.
