About Dr. Dan Meirson
Dan Meirson, M.D., began in practice in 1991. His practice is a state of the art dermatology facility, where patients receive top-level care for all dermatology needs ranging from MOHS Micrographic Surgery, skin cancer surgery, the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, as well as Cosmetic Dermatology. The well trained and courteous staff treats each patient with highest regard and provides them with personalized individual care and respect.
Dan Meirson, M.D. has been in practice for over 20 years and is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan. Dr. Meirson went to medical school at Ohio State University where he received many honors in medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, dermatology and numerous other areas. He did his internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Hospital. He then went on to do his residency in dermatology at New York University Medical Center. He then went on to do his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He then came to South Florida to practice Mohs Micrographic Surgery and dermatology in 1991. He was one of the first fellowship trained Mohs surgeons in South Florida.
Dr. Meirson is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Also, he is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He has published numerous articles in prestigious dermatologic journals and has lectured at numerous national and local meetings.
Dr. Meirson is the past president of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgeons. Also, he is the past president of the Broward County Dermatologic Society and past vice president of the Palm Beach Dermatology Society.
