About Dr. Dani Stekel

Hailing from Upper Manhattan, Dr. Stekel has been in practice for 24 years since 1996.
Dr. Stekel earned his chiropractic degree from Life University in 1996. Every three years, he completes 36 hours of continuing education held by the NYS Department of Education to further advance his education, and learn new methods and information to provide better care for his patients.
A caring listener and communicator, he treats each patient as an individual, and advises based on medical history, specific issues, and goals for the future.

I would 100% go back if they were covered by insurance. He does offer packages that make it cheaper. But he listened to all of my concerns and took into consideration my elhers-danlos syndrome to make sure he did not hurt my during the adjustment. 10/10 recommendation for the Groupon or if he is covered by your insurance!

Dr. Stekkel is my "go-to" chiropractor in a crunch. I've seen him over the years for back and hip pain. He's always been super responsive--particularly after several urgent pleas for help after injuries.
More than once, I've dragged myself into his office, barely able to move, only to walk out with surprisingly better range of motion and alignment.
Don't wait as long as I have to get the kinks worked out. He's the best!

As a Gyrotonic trainer and Yoga Narada master teacher, having a chiropractor that can be there to help take care of my body when it needs it is crucial. Dr. Stekel is always quick to respond with my scheduling requests, listens and is very open to hear what I feel is going on, and confidently translates that into what he feels is the best course of action. There is great communication between us. There are also times when I feel like I have no clue what is going on in my body, and I trust his eyes and hands to see what I can't at that moment. His bedside manner is professional and considerate while also giving off the warm feeling like that of an old friend. I feel very comfortable with his work, and I highly recommend him to anyone!
