She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and then received a Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry. Her clinical training focused on primary eye care, pediatrics, and ocular disease with an emphasis in dry eye.
Dr. Rakouki has a keen interest in treating dry eye disease especially since it has become so prevalent in all age groups due to our modern lifestyle. She is passionate about its early detection and educating her patients on ways to manage the condition. In her free time, she loves to explore the outdoors, painting, and cooking new recipes.
