About Dr. Daniel Burnett
Dr. Dan Burnett has lived in Oregon his whole life, attending Tigard High School where he played football and baseball during his teenage years. He first experienced chiropractic as a young teenager, as his mother took him for various sport injuries when conventional medicine was not helping. When he was 17, he was involved in a serious automobile accident leaving him in a coma for many days with injuries to his neck and back. This accident ended up being a blessing in disguise as he realized how effective chiropractic care was for him when it came to his own recovery. Impressed with what chiropractic care had done for him, he wanted to be able to do the same for other people.
Dr. Dan attended Oregon State University (OSU) and graduated with Bachelors of Science, majoring in exercise and sports science, with a minor in chemistry. This degree really peaked his interest in sports conditioning where he could apply it to baseball, weight training, and jiu jitsu. With his continued participation in sports, Dr. Dan has been exposed to a variety of injuries and has always been treated with chiropractic and massage care to speed up his recovery, while minimizing any long term impairment.
In 2009 Dr. Dan graduated from Western States Chiropractic College with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. At WSCC, he tutored neuromuscular diagnosis and biomechanics, which was a valuable experience for him as it solidified his understanding on these topics.
When he's not working Dr. Dan likes to spend his free time with his menagerie of animals including 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, 2 cats and his many chickens. He enjoys participating and mentoring in jiu jitsu as a black belt and competing in World Master IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championships each year. In the spring and summer months he enjoys the Oregon sunshine hiking, golfing, and wine tasting with his friends and family.

I have always been skeptical of chiropractors and this was my first ever visit to one.
I suffered from a stabbing pain under my shoulder blade for years and decided to visit Dr. Burnett on the rare chance that chiropractic care might help where stretches and massage guns had not. I visited more out of curiosity than actual belief in the system.
I was completely wrong. Dr. Burnett was professional and educated me on his style of care. He discussed my problem, explained possible causes, and then performed chiropractic techniques to the problem area.
Afterwards, he explained posture and lifestyle changes I should make to help alleviate the underlying problem.
I received diagnosis, treatment, and preventive measures all in one visit.
I immediately saw range of motion improvements and my pain is almost gone.
I have gone from skeptic to true believer. Dr. Burnetts treatment improved my quality of life after just one visit!

Will definitely go back. Dan is very knowledgeable and focuses on the cause of the condition. I knew I had systemic alignment issues going into the appointment, but I was surprised by how much. Because a lot of my challenge is attributable to tight hip and back muscles, Dan spent about 20 minutes on deep tissue massage of those areas which helped a lot for immediate relief.

Dr. Daniel Burnett is the best chiropractor in the area, without a doubt. He takes the time to understand your health and injury history before creating a treatment plan that is both realistic and practical. I really appreciated having control over my treatment, as he asked for my input on whether I preferred physical adjustments, massage, or a combination of both. Doctor Burnett is very knowledgeable and really seems to care about his patients and their well-being. He is good at explaining not only what he is doing and why, but also in helping to identify daily habits and behaviors that may be making pain worse. I went in for some persistent pain in my left shoulder and neck area. After my first visit, I felt markedly better and the
behavior changes he suggested helped as well. While my issue is not totally resolved at this time, it does improve with each visit. Thank you Doctor Dan!

I was greeted immediately upon entry and shown back to the treatment room right away. The doc was in for treatment within a couple of minutes to gather info and start the TENS treatment/adjustment. Quality of care and attention to my particular needs were both exemplary, and I was happy to book a follow-up appointment on my way out. Very highly recommended!

I've never had a better experience with a chiropractor, and I've been to several. He took the time to understand both what my experience of my body and pain were and also what treatment I'd previously had that I believed helped. Each step of treatment was offered clearly, with all questions answered, and he waited for consent before each one. Yet, he still worked quickly and efficiently. Follow-up care was recommended, questions answered, and I immediately scheduled two more appointments.
