About Dr. Daniel Kupersmit

For a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency dept. For immediate help with a mental health crisis, call 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. **Please note that providers are licensed to practice per state. A patient receiving care or consultation must be located in the same state(s) to which a provider is licensed to practice. This is a requirement for video and in-person visits.** Dr. Kupersmit was born in Mexico City and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience from Tulane University in New Orleans. He then received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado. Following medical school, he completed his residency at Larkin Community Hospital. Dr. Kupersmit chose medicine because of his combined interest in science and helping people. “The individual has an incredible capacity for self-healing. This manifests itself in many ways, and physicians provide a pathway to the innate healing processes through a variety of means. Learning how to take care of oneself and encouraging appropriate activities are two of many important aspects, and one of the more important roles of physicians is to provide appropriate education along with medical support.” Dr. Kupersmit enjoyed studying the entire spectrum of medicine and is excited to be working within family medicine. When he is not at work, you can find Dr. Kupersmit exploring museums, zoos, parks, and trails with his family.

Great visit. All staff very nice and professional.
I arrived late for my evening appointment after attempting to call several times to let them know I was running late but I couldn’t reach anyone. I get there and the receptionist was very nice. I was seen right away, which was nice. The nurse was very unpleasant. She made me feel anxious because of her tone and her impatience and I wasn’t answering the questions she was asking me well and she was getting visibly upset which in turn made me very uncomfortable. Then the Dr came to visit me and he was awkward as well, basically made me feel like I was abusing drugs bc of what another Dr prescribed me. He seemed nice but that was a huge turn off. I have found another physician and do not plan on returning.

I came in for an annual physical and one specific medical concern. Although I waited almost half an hour to be seen, I basically got nothing out of this appointment. I was told by the assistant that I needed to come in fasted on another day in order to do bloodwork for my check up, which would have been nice to know ahead of time. The medical assistant was terse and somewhat dismissive of my concern. Both she and the doctor made me feel like I made a mistake by coming here and should have gone to a specialist instead, but I honestly didn’t know better and hoped they would be more friendly and helpful.

I was never sent an email with a link to fill out pre-appointment forms. 20 minutes before my appointment, I called the office because I wasn't sure what to do, and I didn't have any instructions about how to connect to my online appointment. I have been on hold for 30 minutes, and they have hung up on me numerous times, and I have now missed my appointment because of their ineptitude. I am very sick and I have been waiting all day for this appointment, so I am incredibly angry and disappointed. At this moment, I am still on hold.

l was in a lot of pain with a KS and was able to get an appoint the same day. The next day it was determined that I also had an infection and was informed and a prescription was called in for me the same day. It was a relief to be able to be seen so soon and be listened to.

Verified patient
I sought him out asking for help and was a little frustrated that he was trying to refer me elsewhere especially since I’m self-pay but he has agreed to look further into my records and have a follow up visit which I feel is helpful.
