Dr. Seidman is the NYC ankle expert. I had a common fracture from playing roller derby and was told that I would always feel some discomfort in my ankle. I had a super fast recovery. It has been 2 years and I have never felt any discomfort after fully healing.

Dr. Daniel Seidman is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery. The goal of his practice is to get you back to being you, whether that be running marathons, competing in tough mudders, or walking along the Highline. He is especially interested in the treatment of high end athletes and returning them to elite condition. He focuses on the treatment of lower extremity sports injuries, cartilage restoration, and joint stabilization. He has interests in the treatment of degenerative and post traumatic conditions of the foot and ankle including arthritis, deformity, and joint reconstruction. He also is well versed in treatment of all extremity fractures. He looks forward to taking care of you and/or your loved ones.

Dr. Seidman and team were great. They were incredibly approachable, were very informative and answered all my questions. I am very happy with his diagnosis and treatment plan. There was a mix up between the office and ZocDoc regarding the location for my appointment, but they were willing to accommodate me being late to the right location. The wait for an X-ray took a little while, it was a pretty busy office in Midtown, but I was seen by someone shortly afterwards.

Dr Seidman is great. I have seen him a few times and he takes time to listen to my concerns with my ankles. He set me up with an MRI and I’m glad he did because my tendon is torn. If I need surgery, I’ll feel confident with him performing it.
