Dr. David Jakubowicz is the director of Otolaryngology and Allergy at Essen Health Care. He is the former chairman of Otolaryngology at Bronx Lebanon Health Center and former director of ENT and Allergy. He is a board certified Otolaryngologist and the only fellow of the Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy that practices in the Bronx. My visit with Dr. Jakubowicz was very good. I had to wait a little while but he was very professional and took care of cleaning my ears right away. He did a really good job with just some hot water and other tools. Now I am able to hear much better than before I had trouble hearing things and people calling me from afar.

Doctor David is an AMAZING doctor. Came in with an ear pain I had for months which I found out was ear wax build up and Doctor David was so kind and informative about preventing it and also about how he treated me. Definitely a very kind and helpful doctor.

I am very annoyed that i was told my prescription was in and it was never placed. Then calling to try to get them to correct it is extremely ridiculous....waited 30mins just to get transferred and still not get help. No prescription. If it was medicaid to stop me from dying....!!!!! Medaline would be in trouble!!!!! Gonna report this to the highest!!

I loved meeting with Dr. Jakubowicz. He is very easy to talk to and just a nice person in general. You can obviously tell that he enjoys what he does. The wait wasn't bad but when you first walk in is a lot to take in. However registering via ZocDoc made things a whole lot easier. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Jakubowicz to anyone. He's one of the few doctors that I've seen who really genuinely cares

I have been to many ENTs over the years, he is by far the best! Would recommend him to everyone, as a matter of fact my wife is making an appointment now to see him. It was my first visit, to remove a large piece of tissue from my ear. He got it out in seconds with NO pain. This is a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. A rare find today. Definitely one im going to keep.
