“Dr. Rachel used some kind of machine to suck the cotton out of my ear (initially I thought I had earwax that caused my loss of hearing). She prescribed me the eardrop for an infection that came about due to the cotton stuck inside my ear, and gave me instructions as to how to use it. I had questions about my ear as to how to clean it as I was using a q tip to clean my ear and which is where the cotton got stuck in my ear. She shared with me that the ear does not need to be cleaned with q tip and the earwax comes out by itself. All you need is to use a cloth to wipe around the edges of the ear. Dr. Rachel checked to see if I have any other questions and asked me to follow up with her after two weeks.”

There was very little guidance or thought put into treatment moving forward. Surgery was the only thing suggested, which is not ideal.

Staff is kind and respectful. Wonderful bedside manner. Dr Kaminsky is throw, listens attentively and provides good feedback. I have been extremely pleased with my care each time I have been seen by her and her staff. They were also very accommodating as I needed to reschedule my appointment and although she is a specialist her schedule had plenty availability to accommodate me within a reasonable amount of time. Not common for a specialist. Most specialist are so busy if you need to reschedule your appointment you risk needing to wait months before you are able to be seen. Thankfully that was not the case with Dr Kaminsky. I was able to reschedule and still be seen within the same month I had originally booked my appointments.

This was truly one of the best experiences I've had with doctors appointments in NYC. Everyone-- from the front desk, to the physician's assistant, to Dr. Kominsky herself--was so warm, kind, attentive and human. They were prompt and helpful. Having lived in NYC for many years, this office visit stood out as a noticeably positive experience. Would highly recommend.
