About David Kon
David Kon, a native of Cherry Hill, NJ, graduated from Rutgers University in 2001. Before his Physician Assistant program, David completed a medical research internship at Vanderbilt University, and also conducted and administered experiments at the Center for Substance Abuse Research at Temple University.
David attended the Physician Assistant Program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he received the Humanitarian Award and was a key speaker at his graduation. David joined Capital Dermatology in 2004 as the practice's first Physician Assistant. His responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventive healthcare, and prescribing medications. David is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

This is the most proficient doctor’s office I have ever been to. They have an amazing in-processing (everything is digital) I’ve never had to wait for the Dr beyond my schedules time. Parking lot has EV chargers, but I’ve never been there long enough to really take advantage of the chargers.

I had a disappointing experience with this dermatologist. The appointment lasted barely three minutes—just enough time for the doctor to glance at my skin and prescribe two creams. Unfortunately, I haven't even been able to pick up the prescriptions because the office failed to coordinate with my insurance. I went to the pharmacy twice, only to be told the issue was on the doctor’s end. I've called the office multiple times, but the calls get bounced around and end with someone hanging up on me. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If you're looking for personal attention and an establishment who cares, I would not recommend this place.

David Kon and his nurse Catherine were absolutely amazing. I've never had a doctor with better bedside manner! I was treated so personably and felt very cared for. I would recommend this clinic and derm doctor to anyone!

The absolute worst experience I’ve had at a doctors office. Waited 50 minutes past my appointment time to only have the doctor in the room for 5 minutes. He was rude, didn’t listen or care, and rushed out. I got nothing from the appointment. It was a waste of time and money.

I haven’t been to this particular practice in several years and I am glad I returned.. It’s located in a different office with more space and better staffed. I have never met Dr. Kon before. He was so pleasant, a good listener and very informative. I was very satisfied with my experience and plan on making Dr. Kon my dermatologist moving forward.
