Dr. Lazar was very pleasant, thorough, and genuinely enjoyed teaching and explaining what he was doing, and seeing. Very courteous and efficient. Confirmed my self diagnosis but also found a new potential problem. Only reason not to go back is that I live in New York
Fantastic experience from beginning to end!

Great doc who is extremely knowledgeable and adamant about providing the best help possible. office staff and Doctor were extremely kind and friendly and made me feel at home. I would have absolutely no problem referring in a family or friends to see him.

Great doctor! I had a minor retinal detachment that the Dr. found, and they scheduled me for treatment asap and now I'm all fixed!
Dr. Lazar is everything a doctor should be - empathetic, patient, knowledgeable and positive. His office staff is equally as wonderful. I went in a few weeks ago and Carson was kind enough to make me an appointment that fit my crazy schedule. He followed up with me before my appointment to let me know about my copay & coinsurance so I wasn't left with any surprises. Those small gestures mean a lot. I have optic disc drusen and hadn't seen an ophthalmologist in several years. My eyes were starting to have pressure behind the eyes, but I wasn't sure if it was an underlying eye issue or associated with a migraine. Dr. Lazar took the time to show me my images, point out the optic disc drusen in the images, walk me through how it's caused and, most importantly, how I can take care of it. I've gone to several doctors in the past, and although all were incredibly talented and kind, none took the time to explain optic disc drusen and none prescribed me with eye drops - both of which Dr. Lazar did. I feel confident in Dr. Lazar's expertise and treatment, and I know I am in good hands with him as my ophthalmologist.
I brought my grandmother to Dr. Lazar's office after her optometrist recommend she see a retina specialist. After looking up her symptoms online I was scared she would lose her vision. Fortunately, Dr. Lazar's office was able to schedule my grandmother the same day I called to make an appointment. Dr. Lazar was extremely thorough, patient, and took the time to explain how macular degeneration affects the vision. He eased my concerns by answering all my questions and I know my grandmother is in good hands. Great staff, clean office, and amazing doctor. Thank you Dr. Lazar!
A really easy process and great experience. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely professional and polite. Dr. Lazar was also professional and extremely knowledgeable. Every single question I had was thoroughly answered. Highly recommend.
Kind, considerate, professional treatment...always! Plus they are super careful about wearing masks, and scheduling one patient at a time, and other safe procedures during the pandemic. I felt very comfortable.
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Dr. Lazar answered the phone after hours when I was planning to leave a message about a somewhat urgent concern. He was able to see me next day and took the time to ask me what my symptoms were and subsequently explain exactly what was going on and how to manage/monitor it without any condescension often received by male practitioners. He struck a perfect balance of professionalism and rapport. His assistant was very competent and professional as well.
