“After wasting two months with a psychiatric practitioner who was no help at all, I feel so lucky to have found Dr Ludwig. He didn’t just listen, he really heard me. Our first diagnostic session felt like a dialogue with someone who truly understands - not a box-ticking exercise. Dr Ludwig also made some comments that showed me that his knowledge and understanding of ADHD goes way beyond the textbooks: he knows of ADHD traits that aren’t on the standard lists of symptoms yet but will likely be officially recognised soon.
I was truly impressed by our first conversation, and look forward to the next one. ”

He seemed nice and like a good listener. I have another appointment scheduled with him, jury is still out if he will be my perm therapist. Office was a little warm, but everyone was kind and respectful. Short waiting time and reception called me to confirm my insurance as well as my portion of each bill.

My first session with Dr. Ludwig was so helpful. He listened to all of my concerns and was very thoughtful when creating a treatment plan that works for me. I'm looking forward to our next appointment. Added plus- his receptionist was so nice and called me before the appointment to make sure I knew what to expect and answer my questions about insurance beforehand. Overall, a seamless and positive experience so far!

Dr. Ludwig had a very calming effect during our session. He asked me many thoughtful questions to help me understand the changes affecting my condition and provided options to help me. I've already booked my follow up to evaluate my progress. I appreciated his thoroughness in leaving no stone unturned.

Dr. Ludwig was very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. This was my first time seeing a psychiatrist, and he made every effort to understand my medical history and needs. His office was also very helpful, they were clear about how to find the office, what paperwork needed to be submitted prior to the visit, and verified what my copay would be ahead of time.

First time seeing a therapist. I made 2 appointments in one day with Dr.Ludwig in the morning and another provider in the evening. I wanted to find someone I was comfortable speaking to. After speaking with Dr.L I cancelled the appointment with the second provider. He was a great listener and honest as well. I definitely look forward to future sessions. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ludwig was very easy to talk to; he was straightforward and nonjudgmental about my lifestyle and habits. I left with the feeling that he wanted to help me.

He's a good doctor he's just a little odd. He reviews your entire file in front of you during every appointment. He doesn't tell you he does this so for a good 5 mins he doesn't say anything and you just kind of sit there. Once he's ready to talk he asks you about your symptoms and anything medically related to your situation. He doesn't do any therapy as far as trying to uncover the root of your issue. He was consistent, i knew what to expect and I got my prescription like i needed.

He did not even ask me how I was doing, even after explaining my situation. genuinely seemed to not care. Id rather travel out of state to my previous doctor.

I read negative reviews and was hesistant to schedule as I've had very poor experiences with psychiatrists in the past. Not only was the paperwork, receptionist, wait, pleasant and quick, the doctor was great. He asked all the appropriate questions, he got all of my history, he listened to my concerns regarding being misdiagnosed and mediation, and he had no problem refilling my prescription and scheduling a follow up. I've been in and out of therapy my whole life, I have a psych and soc degree and can honestly say the people who left negative reviews probably didn't like what they heard aka the truth or were hoping to score some pills. This experience was perfect and I'm very happy that I've finally found a good doctor who will treat my problems, such a relief, I highly recommend.

All this office cares about is money. He is incredibly unhelpful, spends the first ten minutes of the appointment going over his notes on you silently which he should do BEFORE the appointment because he makes you wait 20 minutes to see you anyway. Very little empathy, understanding, or warmth. They charged me any time I needed any office work done, which I've never had any other mental health office do.
September 6, 2017Initials hidden
Not a compassionate care provider. Felt like a customer rather than a patient. Was very rigid in his care plan and was very dismissive of my needs (financial and preference of care).
March 9, 2017Initials hidden
He just wants to make money out of your problems, deliberately delaying his feedback so you go at least twice to see him. Himself, he has psychological problems, when I asked why he can't assess my situation he just flipped, he couldn't control himself. The way he asks questions is very intimidating, you feel like you are in front of the judge. Very uncomfortable.

Awful. Very irresponsible doctor. After asking confused questions for over an hour, he refused to help me. Maybe you now think that I was rude to him, but it was nothing like that. He wasted important time and referred me to a doctor that does not take my insurance. I waited weeks for this appointment, weeks when I could have sought help from a competent doctor. I am starting to think there is a scam here.
April 7, 2016Initials hidden
He was nice, but the appointment took over an hour. He would ask a question and then take a long time writing things down, which was a bit uncomfortable.
April 20, 2016Initials hidden
I gave Dr. Ludwig about 2 months of chances and was wholly disappointed. Very pedantic and nitpicky demeanor that borders on condescension. Spends the first 5 minutes in silence looking over his notes from the last session, then proceeds to ask the same 5 questions again. I probably outlined my medication history in full 4 times. I wanted the expert bipolar/ADHD differential he touts, and expressed a lot of anxiety over it; he was dismissive throughout our meetings. I had an intense panic attack in front of him, and he sat silently while I tried my best to bring myself out of it which was both difficult, embarrassing, and hurtful.

I really lucked out finding a doctor via reviews. I was seen exactly on time, Wendi, the receptionist was pleasant and easy to work with. The doctor spent more than an hour with me. We went over multiple options and he is insisting I do a full exam as well as other items that I should have done a long time ago. He also set an appointment for a week later to check on progress. Easy to talk to and helpful. I really felt like he cares for my overall health long term and not a quick fix.

Dr. Ludwig was very professional and thoughtful. He listened intently and asked questions. It was obvious that his main goal was to glean information to help me in the path to feeling better as soon as possible.

Dr. Ludwig was very professional but not stuffy. His down to earth demeanor made me feel at ease. He was attentive, asked a lot of questions and most importantly listened. Looking forward to continuing treatment with him.
