About Dr. David Michalak
A native of Houston, TX, Dr. Michalak specializes in Family Medicine and holds board certification in the subspecialty of sleep medicine. A former Registered Nurse, he spent nearly a decade working in intensive care and emergency department environments before returning to school to pursue Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Houston Methodist. Dr. Michalak has served at Brooke Army Medical Center and later at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, as a Family Doctor to the men and women of our armed forces. In 2008, he started a clinic in the Spring area and decided to settle permanently in The Woodlands after the birth of his daughter.
