About Dr. David Tran
David Tran, MD, is an experienced, board-certified physiatrist at Axion Spine & Neurosurgery in Alpharetta in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area. He uses a comprehensive approach and focuses on nonsurgical treatment options for painful spinal conditions. Examples include spinal injections, stem cell therapy, and radiofrequency ablation.
Dr. Tran lives in Atlanta. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kansas in Lawrence. He completed an internship at MacNeal Hospital in the Chicago area and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Emory University in Atlanta, where he learned the latest advances in pain management and sports medicine techniques. Very pleased to find that the practice is Dr. Tomaras - he did a microdiscectomy on me in 2020 and I had "lost" him when the practice he and Dr. Tran were at. Loved them then, love them now!
