About Deandra Ransom
DeAndra Ransom, PA-C is nationally Board Certified as a Physician Assistant specializing in medical dermatology. DeAndra began her studies at the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, where she received her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she graduated with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in May 2013. Before joining Texas Dermatology, DeAndra worked in the southern region of San Antonio in both pediatric and adult urgent care and family medicine.
In her spare time, DeAndra enjoys traveling with her family, walking her two dogs, reading, and relaxing in the many great parks of San Antonio. She is bilingual in Spanish and is proud to serve her fellow Texans.
DeAndra is an Adjunct Professor for the Physician Assistant Studies program at UT Health San Antonio and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
