Dr. Chua is one of the best doctors I've ever had! She is kind, patient, and really listens. She even calls patients personally to deliver test results and go over them. Could not recommend her more.

Admit it - when you see all 5 star reviews you become skeptical but I am happy to say that they are MORE THAN DESERVED and Dr Chua and her staff are phenomenal. 2 things I have never experienced in a NY doctors off - Proactively calling me when I was on the waiting list to get moved up a week, and a Doctor who runs on schedule and I have never had a wait. Her staff is pleasant and efficient which seems rare these days for NYC medicine I imagine that this all comes from the top down. Dr Chua has a phenomenal bedside manner, she is very knowledgeable, and extremely caring. I find it hard to reconcile that I never have to wait, yet I have never felt rushed and she takes as much time as is needed to fully answer any questions. I am assuming this is due to great scheduling practices. I hope all my gastro problems are gone, but if not, I can take comfort that I have found a phenomenal doctor that is young enough to treat me for as long as we are both in NYC
Nice staff, very short wait, professional yet warm bedside manner
Dr. Chua was very nice, respectful, and approached all potentially uncomfortable, awkward topics/ questions very professionally. She is extremely knowledgeable and made you feel welcome at her office. Going into a surgery I feel very safe and happy she will be taking care of me. Your a definitely in good hands with Dr. Chua!

Very good listener and great experience
Dr. Chua actually makes me ENJOY going to my doctors appointments. She is super efficient, listens to you, and covers all of her bases. She has supported me with my case of IBS and I always feel so comfortable in her office. Her receptionist and medical assistants are also very helpful and sweet. Please, do not consider any other gastroenterologist other than Dr. Chua! 10/10.

Very kind and patient doctor. I liked how she listened to everything I had to say. She is also going with a conservative and common sense approach rather than directly prescribing bunch of invasive tests (like a GI doctor had done before to me). She has a background in nutrition and I think this is definitely a plus for a GI doctor. Definitely will recommend her!
Dr. Chua was extremely helpful and nice. She thoroughly explained the procedure I was having done before doing anything, and then followed up with possible explanations for what I was going through. She suggested a few tests and a follow up to confirm her thoughts about what was wrong. I saw her very quickly (before I was even done filling out paperwork!) and her assistant was also very nice and helpful.

Dr. Chua was friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. She was thorough and asked follow-up questions. At no point did I feel rushed or dismissed. I will happily continue seeing her. Her whole staff was efficient and courteous and the nurse who drew my blood was a rock star. I barely felt the needle.

Dr. Chua is possibly the most kind and thorough doctor I have ever seen. She took the time and really listened to my concerns. She made me feel very comfortable and was not judgmental or dismissive at all. She was genuinely concerned about finding a solution and came up with a plan ordering tests immediately to rule out other factors and get to the bottom of the problem. I would highly recommend seeing her. The front desk staff and medical assistants were all very kind and organized. the process was very seamless. I was seen right away and out within 35 mins. Highly recommend.

Highly thorough and efficient
Dr. Chua is a patient and thorough doctor. I have seen her several times for a GI issue, and she has helped me think through the best steps to figure out the underlying cause and takes her time to answer my questions and explain the pros and cons of my options.
I had a follow up from a procedure with Dr. Chua and she was very helpful. She took her time to explain the results and answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed.

Dr. L.Chua was very kind and listened to EVERYTHING I had to stay. Regardless of my issue she still scheduled me for an appointment for an endoscopy just to make sure everything is fine. Can't wait to see her in a few weeks. I would recommend.

Dr. Chua has incredible bed-side and was extremely thorough and knowledgable. Very glad I went to her.
Dr Chua is nice and professional but the office administration people are not so attentive. Not only they forgot to give my insurance card and ID, they told me to call insurance company to find out if they pay for the procedures. Most of my other places I go to they normally check for me and inform me.
It was very pleasant. Dr. Chua made me at eade.
Visit went really well. She took action right away, gave me a referral had her staff draw blood and had me on my way.
This is my third visit with Dr. Chua and she has been attentive and knowledgeable each time. I do not feel rushed, but like she’s listening. I am hopeful that whatever the issue is, she will help me resolve it.
She was very warm and talked me through what to expect with a colonoscopy.
