About Dr. Denise Guevara
Dr. Guevara is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Premier Dermatology Partners that brings a wealth of experience and a passion for dermatology to our practice. Her journey in healthcare began at the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, laying the foundation for her holistic approach to skincare.
She pursued her medical degree at the New York Institute of Technology-College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2001. Dr. Guevara’s commitment to advancing dermatological knowledge was evident early in her career when she became a recipient of the prestigious National Institute of Health Research Grant.
As a Research Fellow at the renowned Department of Dermatology in Mount Sinai College of Dermatology, New York, Dr. Guevara contributed to groundbreaking studies and collaborated on multiple published journal articles, particularly in the areas of anti-aging and anti-cancer, including melanoma research.
During her residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center-Lake Erie Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Guevara had the privilege of rotating at the distinguished Ackerman Institute of Pathology in New York. In her final year, she served as Chief Resident of Wellington Regional Medical Center and further honed her skills by rotating with Dr. Jean Bolognia at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Guevara’s dedication to patient care has been recognized through various awards, including the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2013, 2015, 2016, 2018), On-time Doctor Award (2018), and Patients’ Choice Award (2018).
Fluent in both Spanish & English, Dr. Guevara ensures that her patients are her top priority, treating each individual with the same care, dedication, & commitment as she would her closest family and friend.
