Hello, I am Denise. Do you feel like you are on a roller coaster with the ups and downs of your daily physical, emotional, and mental health? Do you feel overwhelmed, tired, have low sex drive, or no desire to do things that would be fun or interesting? I help with women’s health care issues that affect their quality of life. Hormones play a large role in our physical health, which can ultimately affect our mental health. Heavy, painful periods can cause an emotional roller coaster, as well as acne and angry outbursts, as seen with PMDD. Polycystic ovaries can also cause hormone and emotional problems, as well as fertility issues. Pelvic pain from conditions like endometriosis and ovarian cysts makes it hard to carry out activities of daily living. Perimenopause and menopause have a long list of symptoms that impact our quality of life: vaginal dryness, painful sex, orgasmic dysfunction, adult-onset acne, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, brain fog, and memory issues, to say the least. The changes in family dynamics and the empty nest add layers of emotions during this time in life. The loss of loved ones and relationship issues are part of women’s everyday life. Working full-time, taking care of children, managing the home, cooking meals, doing laundry, and paying bills are multiple jobs that one person manages on top of dealing with her hormones and life changes. Low sex drive also becomes a large part of dissatisfaction at some point in a woman’s life. I hold a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati, which equips me to provide comprehensive care tailored to women’s unique health needs.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
