About Dr. Dilshad Atwal
Dr. Dilshad Atwal is an Interventional Spine & Pain Management physician. He specializes in providing comprehensive care using a minimally invasive and non-operative approach with fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures for the treatment of neck, low back, joints, and other musculoskeletal pain conditions and injuries.
**Dr Atwal does NOT prescribe opioids. His practice focuses on improving a patient's function and quality of life without opioids.
Dr. Atwal received his medical degree from St. George’s University, School of Medicine. He then completed an internal medicine Internship from Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in NY and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency training from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Following this, Dr. Atwal went on to complete a fellowship specializing in interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine at the Center for Advanced Pain Management and Rehabilitation affiliated with Rutgers University in NJ (UMDNJ).
