This was my first visit to see Dr. Kini; my previous primary care physician closed his practice. Her office had the appropriate safeguards to protect her, her staff and her patients from infection during this Covid-19 pandemic - only one patient is allowed in the office at a time as we maintained a six foot distance between me and the receptionist. I felt very comfortable with this office visit in spite of the awkwardness of wearing personal protective equipment (i.e. glasses, N95 masks and vinyl/nitrile gloves) during the examination. Dr. Kini was very professional and very personable during my visit forward to my next appointment in six months!

I saw Dr. Kini after seeing how she interacted with my husband when he visited her for physical clearance required for work. I came for my annual physical and labs too and like her a lot. She’s attentive. The visit was short but I didn’t feel rush. I’ve trying to find a better primary for a couple years now and I think I found one.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. KINI‘s for about 20 years. I followed her from her previous practice where she was an associate with a number of other doctors. She is awesome! I travel all the way from Sunnyvale to see her since I no longer live in San Francisco and work in Daly City. She is patient, compassionate and has a warm bedside manner. She truly cares from her heart about her patients. ????????

Dr. Kini has good energy. She is extremely short with patients though, to the point where it seems like she doesn't really care. I respect her philosophy on not prescribing drugs if they aren't needed. Just not sure if she even diagnosed me properly based on our interaction. I'm getting a second opinion.

I arrived late and frazzled. The staff helped keep me calm and got me in quickly to see Dr. Divya Kini. She was very attentive and asked a lot of questions about my background and the medications I was currently taking. On top of recommending a tetanus shot that no other doctor has bothered to mention during my physical, she also recommended a gynecologist. All in all I was very please with how fast and efficient she and her staff were. THANK YOU!

I have no idea what the deal is with the slew of negative reviews, but I'm so glad I ignored them. Dr. Kini is a professional. She doesn't beat around the bush; she gets right to business and finds out how to help you. She is competent, thoughtful, and (I felt) very warm and gracious. I have no idea why these reviews are not unilaterally adulatory.
A few details: the waiting room is compact but more than adequate, with reading material, etc. I arrived early but was called back pretty much on the dot of my appointment time, and I didn't have to wait long after the assistant left for Dr. Kini to show up, either (sometimes that's where they get you). When Dr. Kini arrived, I explained my symptoms, after which she asked appropriate questions, performed a physical, and ordered bloodwork for me, even explaining where to get it done. She is also (somehow) familiar with my gynecologist, and nodded approvingly when I mentioned her (a very encouraging sign, since I'm new to that doctor as well).
No, the visit didn't drag on and on, but I didn't feel at all slighted by this. As other reviewers have mentioned, Dr. Kini really knows her stuff, which is doubtless why she is able to get through her many appointments so quickly.
In short, I'm very grateful to have found Dr. Kini, and relieved to have landed on a competent PCP at last.
