What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider?
I have a heart for service and really enjoy meeting people where they are and helping them to learn and grow into the best versions of themselves. Everyone has an opportunity for growth, success, and happiness, and I feel called to help people become who they want to be by supporting their mental, spiritual, and physical health goals. Medicine has given me the chance to support so many people as they go through transitions and become well. I could not imagine doing anything more meaningful.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should partner closely with their patients to help them achieve mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. This relationship should be supportive and consistent in order to promote long-term wellness.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
I earned my Master's in Family Nursing from Vanderbilt University, which has equipped me to provide comprehensive care to individuals and families. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors running and hiking and reading books in my hammock. On a Sunday after church, you will almost always find me in the kitchen baking and experimenting with new flavor profiles and textures. I would definitely call myself a dog person, but recently a cat has adopted me, so I am still adjusting to my role as a cat mom.

I would not recommend her at all. I felt misunderstood from the beginning… I was trying to explain what I thought was going on with me so she said ok well you have to do three separate appointments for that specific diagnosis… I felt that was a little much because I have to now find time for the appointment and then pay for all three of them… when I said no I don’t want to do that she immediately went to defensive mode raised her tone and told me I shouldn’t use this platform anymore and she would cancel my appointment… Didn’t offer to explain it to me or say is there anything else I can help you with or I can help you find another provider that might can help. It’s hard enough to ask for help sometimes and then when someone makes you feel bad and misunderstood it’s wrong. Very unprofessional…

She was very friendly and clearly spoke. She knew what the best solution would be for my symptoms and was very knowledgeable and explanatory with my treatment plan. She had a transparent attitude and cared about my health. Overall I'd definitely recommend for those who can't find proper doctors in their areas that they feel comfortable with. She made me feel seen and heard which is the best thing i can ask for in a doctor!!!!

I had a good experience. The only difficulty was getting my microphone to work with the app. Zocdoc beats sitting in an office for hours waiting to be seen with other sick patients. I plan to use the service in the future.
