I'm a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping clients facing mental health challenges better cope and achieve optimal health. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Brandman University. Additionally, I hold a Master's in Nursing from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree from Obafemi Awolowo University. With over a decade of nursing experience, I work best with adults aged 18 and older.

Patients can expect a warm, respectful, and collaborative approach to care. I believe in taking the time to listen carefully, understand each patient’s concerns, and create an individualized treatment plan tailored to their needs and goals. My approach is evidence-based, compassionate, and focused on building trust in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
I value open communication and encourage patients to ask questions and actively participate in their care. Appointments are structured yet flexible, allowing space to address both immediate concerns and long-term wellness. My goal is to support patients in feeling heard, informed, and confident throughout their treatment journey.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The first visit focuses on a comprehensive evaluation, including a detailed review of symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, current medications, and treatment goals. I take time to understand each client’s concerns and ensure all questions are addressed.
Based on this assessment, we develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication management, supportive or talk therapy, and lifestyle recommendations when appropriate. Follow-up visits are used to monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and provide ongoing support.
Sessions are collaborative and patient-centered, with an emphasis on education, open communication, and shared decision-making. My goal is to provide consistent, evidence-based care while helping clients feel comfortable, informed, and actively involved in their treatment.

My 13 year old daughter saw Dr. Dola for the first time today and she absolutely loved her! I really liked her as well and I believe that she truly cares about my daughter and has her best interest at heart. Dr. Dola explained everything to my daughter without making her feel like a child and she also took the time to explain her recommendations for my daughter to me as well.
