I had a cold that turned into a bad cough accompanied by shortness of breadth which prevented me from sleeping for a couple of nights. Dr. Weinreich took the time to do multiple tests to diagnosis the issue, explain the possible causes, and recommend a combination of complementary natural and pharmaceutical treatments. All things that you would expect from a good Primary Care Physician. He also keeps a very stylish office =)

I began practicing medicine in the Alta Bates community in 2001. I started my own practice in 2004. My mission is to provide quality, personal, primary and preventive care. This means medical care that focuses on the biological as well as the psychological aspects that comprise our overall health and well being. I strive to utilize evidence based medical practices to guide medical decisions and preventive care. In addition, I believe it is important to communicate the rationale for specific treatments and make sure these are understood. Continuity of care, good communication are essential to navigating a complex medical system. I use an Electronic Medical Record/Chart so that health histories are legible and easily manged and communicated. I also use an electronic prescribing service that allows you to request prescription refills online.
