He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

It was the worst doctor appointment I have ever had. It all started with his office changing my appointment to 4pm a few days prior to my appointment date. The day of they changed it again and gave me about two hours notice.
Once my wife and I arrived the doctor didn't even introduce himself and informed me the prescription medication had NO side effects and could NOT have caused the symptoms I was feeling. Instead he referred me to a neurologist. Waste of time!

I enjoyed meeting Dr. Temkin. He put me at ease right away with his inquiries of my physical background. He took a little time to scan through my previous records that I had gotten from my former primary care doctor with a promise that they would get a closer look before I scheduled an appointment for a physical. I had a few questions about my current health which he addressed in a timely manner. I made an appointment for the physical in May and I feel confident that I have chosen the right doctor for my new primary care physician. A bonus for me is, his office is much closer to my home than my former doctor. The staff in the office are very courteous and the wait time was much shorter than expected. My first experience with Dr. Temkin was very good and I'm looking forward to a long relationship.

Dr. Temkin was AMAZING! He had answers to all my questions, made me feel comfortable the entire time and didn't rush me once. He not only had answers to my questions, but explanations and was willing to discuss anything I wasn't comfortable with. I am beyond pleased with his professionalism and with certainty can say that I've found the doctor I'll be sticking with.
