About Dr. Drew Locandro

Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Drew M. Locandro received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he specialized in otolaryngology and completed his residency at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Locandro has extensive experience with common ENT procedures and special expertise with nasal/sinus surgery, cosmetic nasal surgery, and advanced ear surgery. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

The office was having trouble with their software, so I understand the delays and frustrations that can create. I had filled out my vitals online when I made my appt., (no offer to complete my medical history online) including the scanned photos of my ID and insurance cards. When I got there, the front desk asst. glanced at them and said they are fuzzy, so she needed them again. She gave me a tablet to enter my medical history, etc. that was no less than 15 pages to complete. It started with no less than 12 "consents," that required a finger signature for each one with a poorly working touch screen. I went in with a good attitude, having read positive comments about the practice; after waiting 1 hour to be called back to the exam room and receiving NO apology from anyone, I'm afraid I cannot give this office a good rating. At this point, I do not see a office note or visit summary available on the patient portal, which is also disappointing.
