I had two issues to be seen for on one toe. I specifically wanted to use Dr. Davis because of the convenience of their in room X-ray last time I had need of one. So that was a disappointment today. The length of wait for the X-ray machine-which is portable and was tied up in another room when they realized I needed it-made my wait very long, and I nearly missed an appointment after, though the cushion was an hour and a half.

Dr. Ed Davis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rutgers College. He received his podiatric medical degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed residency training at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, DC, followed by three years of service in the National Health Service Corps in West Virginia. Dr. Davis then established a private practice in West Virginia. Enhancement of interprofessional relations between classes of health care providers was an important project that he initiated as president of the West Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Davis and his family relocated to Washington State in 1994 where he practiced until the decision was made to relocate to San Antonio in 2007. He brings twenty-five years of clinical experience in biomechanics and foot surgery. Dr. Davis is a former surgical instructor at two podiatric residency training programs in foot and ankle surgery. He has achieved Board Certification in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
Dr. Davis focuses on finding the underlying cause of foot and ankle problems as opposed to treating symptoms with his focus on the biomechanics of the foot and ankle.

I’m a pt of his, so when my husband had to see a podiatrist, I recommended Dr. Davis to my husband. I would never recommend a doctor to anyone if I haven’t interacted and have been treated by them. Dr. Davis and the staff are AWESOME! Dr. Davis and his staff are very knowledgeable and make you feel at ease and welcomed. They always have a great attitude and are willing to answer any questions/concerns you might have. We love that they don’t rush you and take the time to answer questions. In my book, they’re the best! From my experience with other physicians and their staff, by far, they’re the best! From the time you enter until your done, the attention to patients is superb! We highly recommend Dr. Davis and his staff!

Other than the 60 minute wait from the time my appointment was scheduled until when I got to see the doctor the appointment was good. I was able to get same day treatment and scheduled future appointments for first appointment in the morning so there should not be a delay at that time.
