The doctor himself was great. He took the time to listen to and comment on my concerns as well as empathize. Though I filled out paperwork on ZocDoc and told the receptionist as such, there was confusion and another receptionist as well as the nurse tried to get me to fill out my family history again. I sat for about 20 minutes with 4 pages of forms to fill out (all of the information therein I'd given already on ZocDoc, so it was frustrating to refill address, ss#, dob, etc.) and sign before I was seen by the nurse.

Dr. Richardson is a board certified family medicine doctor with a specialty in geriatrics and palliative medicine. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Morehouse School of Medicine located in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his family medicine residency at The Medical Center in Columbus, GA. In 2009, he completed his Fellowship of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine from Medical Center of Central Georgia located in Macon, Georgia. He also served in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Gulf War. Dr. Richardson is a compassionate doctor who works closely with patients to help them receive optimum medical care. Along with his responsibilities at Lake Oconee Urgent and Specialty Care, Dr. Richardson also serves as a hospitalist to local hospital, Putnam General, and Hilton Head Memorial Hospital in South Carolina. Dr. Richardson is a resident of Lake Oconee and in his leisure time enjoys traveling, playing golf, and spending time with his wife Jameelah Gater, M.D.
