About Dr. Edner Registre
Dr. Edner Registre is a podiatrist specializing in foot and ankle surgery, with a special interest in diabetic foot surgery. He joined the profession largely because diabetes is a major public health issue that severely affects the lower extremity.
Dr. Registre earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he was a member of the Sports Medicine and Surgery Clubs. He completed his residency in podiatry at New York Community Hospital, serving as chief resident in his third year.
An avid fitness enthusiast, Dr. Registre has a keen interest in sports medicine of the foot and ankle. He is also an active member of the community, participating in the CUNY Male Initiative program where he mentors at-risk youth. Additionally, he regularly takes part in community health fairs and volunteers his services at events throughout the city.
