About Eileen Aversa
Eileen is a doctorate prepared Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 2015. Prior to that, she obtained both her Master’s degree in Family Nursing and her Bachelor’s degree from Rowan University. Her thesis was titled "A Systematic Review of the Attitudes and Influences of African American Mothers on Their Adolescent Daughters’ Weight and Body Image."
Eileen's nursing career spans over forty years, with vast experience that contributes to her proactive approach toward maintaining and restoring health through treatment and prevention of disease. These philosophies have made her an instrumental advocate for prevention and skin care management.
In her free time, Eileen enjoys travel.

i was handed a mirror and was told to look in it, as she pointed to most spots on my face in less than a minute. she concluded they were spots caused by sun damage.
i asked for someone to remove them and she told me in linwood. THAT WAS IT!
i told her no one asked me for my list of meds. the girl in the room said i can take a picture of them. DONE!

The office was well run and adequately staffed. I did not wait long at all, The NP identified my skin problems and made the necessary treatment within minutes.
I am satisfied at this time and am waiting for the areas to properly heal in order to provide any further comments,

This was my best experience at a dermatologists office. Dr. Aversa was very thorough, explained what she was doing, and was even supportive of my plant-based skin care routine which, quite frankly, I was not expecting. Very friendly, great manner, and the assistants at both visits were quite friendly!

It was very easy to schedule an appointment on line and I was able to get an appointment in the same week. The office followed up with me with reminders and I was able to fill out all the paper work ahead of time on their app. The staff was friendly.
