About Elena Kesterson

This provider's Primary Supervising Physician is Adam Leavitt. Elena is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Elena is board certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and was recertified in 2013. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University in Tennessee with extensive training in dermatology and has been practicing dermatology since. Elena is originally from Uzbekistan. Prior to moving to the United States, she was a Medical Doctor practicing in gynecology. After relocation, she decided to change her area of specialization. Her philosophy on patient care is to provide an individualized approach that considers the whole patient with compassion and respect. Elena enjoys all aspects of dermatology and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

The staff were all super friendly and a great environment l. The lady who walked me back into the room was super informative and kind but the actual doctor was in the room for maybe 5 minutes… maybe. She was good and did her job but it seemed like she was in a rush and didn’t listen and I had to almost keep asking her questions as she was walking out of the room. She was nice and a good doctor but I didn’t like how she was rushed.

The expertise of the Staff I have had . Elana , Julie, check me out patient , willing to look into discounts available . Also the cute dark haired check in receptionist . Very patient with all the , grumpy and demanding retired people . Elana, is very knowledgable in her field, and I feel so confident having her as my skin/dermatologist professional . I miss a few of the medical assistants who have recently left the practice. I hope my crew is appreciated, because they are the reason I go there . I have sent 2 other people there to advanced derm, in Venice .
