Eleni Pellazgu, PhD, DNP, APN, FNP-C, CSNC, PCCN, RN-BC is a highly experienced nurse practitioner with expertise in nutrition, diabetes and metabolism, and functional medicine.
She has coordinated care for patients needing Metabolic and Bariatric Medicine at Atlantic Health and is a senior faculty member at Walden University and Rutgers University.
Eleni's doctoral preparation and clinical experience allow her to conduct research in various areas of interest, including microbiome nutrition, oncology, physical functioning and sarcopenia in older adults, protein metabolism, anabolic resistance, obesity, medical nutrition in the critically ill, and hypoparathyroidism and bariatric surgery patients.

I scheduled a video appointment but was never seen by the provider. I waited over 20 minutes and was never contacted by the office even after receiving several messages confirming the appointment. There was also no follow up about the missed scheduled appointment.

Anytime I have to visit a doctor's office I am always a little nervous. Eleni Pellazgu was not only welcoming she was also very professional. No office wait time, very informative and I left grateful I found her on ZocDoc. I highly recommend her services

My experience with my doctor has been very positive. She truly takes the time to listen to me and makes me feel heard and understood during every visit. I never feel rushed, and she always allows space for me to explain my concerns and ask questions.
What I appreciate most is how attentive and compassionate she is.
She listens carefully, considers my symptoms and thoughts, and explains things in a clear and reassuring way. That makes me feel comfortable and confident in the care I'm receiving.
